PostSubject: Re: Searching Without a Trace   Searching Without a Trace - Page 2 Icon_minitimeSat 07 Jan 2012, 4:33 am

Revy was once again on her feet, and one of the two strangers that were in the distance had made themselves known, and launched an attack. Though Kaze was capable of dodging it just before he let go of revy, and managed to create distance between them, and the new guest. Revy had worried this fight may get a little out of hand, though she was confused as to why this man was here. She wasn't close enough to notice a headband, or even to know where to look for a symbol belonging to a village, thus she had no idea who this man was, but he was skilled. The man had missed his attack, thus keeping the rest of his actions from being put into play, but that didn't mean things were over yet. Revy readied herself quickly, and held her hand out to the side, with her palm open. Acheron, her scythe had been launched from the rooftop of another building, due to the explosion from the first one launching the scythe elsewhere. The scythe launched towards Revy's hand, and she caught it. Exactly how she did it would not be revealed at this moment, as there was no chakra connection between her and the scythe..yet.

Without a moment of hesitation, Revy took the high ground, and ran up a wall of a building to her left, giving her a view over the two below. She had noticed the presence of the other man the stranger was with had disappeared, but she was capable of sensing the last spot he was at before it had disappeared, so he must have moved beneath a building, or something to shield him from the rain once more. Though Revy couldn't be sure, so she ignored it for the moment. She slid the handle of her scythe beneath her arms, and quickly strung together a short row of hand seals. The rain had become slightly lighter, weakening the Ukojizai's effect only lightly, but it was worth it, for now there was a large spear of water being created above the rain clouds, from the water within them. When the time comes, this spear will be finished, though until then, it will remain stationary, in creating.

Until a next move is made, Revy remained at her location, waiting to see how this drew out. She really did not want to fight right now, and she didn't know whether or not the man with the staff was after her, or just Kaze, or both of them, seeing as he has yet to make an offensive move towards her. So she thinks.

(Posting order would be "Masahiro - Kaze - Revy". At least until Naizu gets fully involved)

Missed, tch!

The sheer responsiveness of the sharingan was always impressive, Masahiro made a mental note to not make the same mistake again. As Kaze's wings created distance between them Masahiro's motion allowed him to trail behind in the air for a moment, eyes locked firmly on his opponent's chest. He had learned long ago what the dangers of eye contact could be. Luckily, it was only due to this intense concentration that allowed Masahiro to perceive the counter-attack that had been launched against him, the only hint, a single rain drop shattering as it fell between the two airborne nin.

Bringing his staff before him, the sage spun it with unrivaled ferocity, lacking the time to mount a ninjutsu defense. The staff stood strong however, as through it's ornately carved frame Masahiro could feel the vibrations of several small impacts. He was familiar with the wind release, a master of it himself, he gladly welcomed the fact that Kaze had chosen senbon as opposed to many of the wind nature's much more powerful, and intangible cousins. Otherwise, he wouldn't have survived.

Gravity now taking it's hold, Masahiro flipped forward, dropping his staff so that it fell below him. He then gently landed upon it's tip, the weapon standing upright beneath him. It was a perfect display of skillful balance. Skill was in fact, the second greatest trait a ninja could possess, and today, Masahiro had already been saved by the first, Lady Luck.

Arms crossed, Masahiro watched as his target landed, keeping his eyes relatively unfocused, as to take in all details of the scene before him, rather then a single focal point. It was this soulless gaze that allowed him to keep the stranger within the edges of his peripherals as she absconded up the side of the nearest building. She was smart, it would have been foolish for them to sacrifice their strength in numbers to mount a full frontal assault. If she wished to flank him by simply trying to edge out of his view however, she was underestimating his battle experience. Without having provided herself with some form of cover, Masahiro's full awareness of her intentions gave him plenty of time to devise proper counter-tactics.

Raising a single hand before his face, Masahiro formed a handseal, his index and middle fingers stretching up to stand before his nose. In response, three of his servants were created, all standing around the mysterious nin high up on the wall. Two to her left and right, about five feet from her, one directly behind her. They were ethereal in nature, completely transparent, their form having been created from the water falling around the area and given the shape of large feral wolverines. A moment later the one to her right snarled, the one to it's right and her left moving around behind it, trying to pull her gaze as it then swerved in for a low hamstringing strike, as the one behind her leaped. The rear attack was meant to be the home run, the two before her providing the distraction, if it could land on her back, it's fangs and claws would dig in, and it's form would change yet again as would the shape of the other two. Should their attacks be successful, the two that moved in would revert back to simple water, while the third became a clone of Masahiro, who would then utilize the water from the other two to imprison her.

All performed with a single hand seal, it was no wonder why Masahiro deserved his title. The success rate was iffy at best however, but the primary plan was to divide and conquer, preoccupy if need be, and lastly capture as a bonus. That was for the newcomer, Kaze-kun on the other hand, was a different story. "Do not misunderstand my next words Kaze Uchiha, I still have no intention of forcefully bringing you to justice. I am still fully sure the Kami will be the ones to determine your fate in the end. However, having seen what you may or may not be after, or who you may or may not choose to surround yourself with, it is important for me to know, that I'm not wrong in believing you can survive as an eagle, a singular entity without the support of camaraderie. For if you die..." Masahiro trailed off for a moment there. Yes, he had plans for the boy, but they did not need to be revealed here, nor in the immediate present. He had almost said too much. Sighing, he continued. "You are now to be tested, as is she." His address to her sounded like venom rolling off his tongue. With the word, Masahiro leaned, his right foot reaching down to hook the staff as it tiled sideways and fell out from under him. With a complex and fluid motion, it was raised into his hands and spun just as his feet touched down, water splashing up from the puddles beneath him and flicking off the tips of Kagai-Kinrei. In a dramatic series of spins, the staff then came to a dramatic stop, it's far end resting on the ground, pointing in Kaze's direction, with the polar opposite held in Masahiro's outstretched right arm.

The time for talk was over.

"...it is important for me to know, that I'm not wrong in believing you can survive as an eagle, a singular entity without the support of camaraderie. For if you die..." Kaze growled, but softly. Within himself, Kaze was displeased at having to fight Masahiro as he was not on his list of plans. He had no choice so he stuck to planning out a strategy to increase his chance of survival and avoid wasting too much chakra. After all, he had the least amount of chakra compared to everyone else, especially Revy. She had roughly 1x more than Masahiro and 0.5x more than that mysterious, cloaked guy. Chakra was not everything, he knew that, but dying from chakra loss would be shameful to his title. That staff the Sage carried was dangerous enough, capable of fracturing bones with a single, powerful whack. He made a mental note to watch out for the cloaked figure every now and then by keeping track of the man's chakra signature. To him, Revy was unsure what or who to believe, and may kill them all if she deemed it necessary. Kaze reached his left hand into the weapon pouch and held a smoke ball between the index and middle fingers, slowly retrieving it from the pouch. He threw the ball a few feet ahead, using it as a cover to hide his intention from Masahiro. The street was somewhat narrow and he stood along the wall, where it formed a 'T' in the road. The moment the smoke went up, Kaze quickly strung together hand seals and created a single clone, before wrapping an explodive tag on the handle and throwing his scythe at Masahiro. He activated the tag a split second before body flickering to the right, behind the skyscraper they had jumped off of. Kaze had willed the scythe to disperse once the explosion had went off. By then, the white smoke had mostly faded, Kaze still standing in the exact same spot. Now he waited for Masahiro's reaction.

Searching Without a Trace - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Searching Without a Trace   Searching Without a Trace - Page 2 Icon_minitimeMon 09 Jan 2012, 7:22 pm

The battle continued below as Revy stood atop the roof watching over the narrow street they had been fighting on. The rain started to pick back up slightly, from the slow drizzle it has been at, though her spear was still not complete. It needed just a little more time. Revy watched as the man with the staff began to perform seals, and wolves had been created around here from her own water. So one of his affinities is water.... The formation they took was a bit confusing, but was clumsily done. Especially to one such as herself. The one to her front right had began moving behind the one to her front left, and she noticed there was one behind her as well. They were transparent, but were still made of bodies of water, thus Revy could spot them easily, being a user of water herself. Just the one had began moving to it's left, Revy had remained completely still for a moment. What looked like she was giving in was actually the preparation of a defense, as well as a counter attack to all of the wolves surrounding her. Immediately, Revy placed her hand on Acheron, and just as the wolves made their attack, she had made her counter attack. With acheron beneath her arm with the blade facing down, she'd swiftly swing it in a sweeping motion straight up towards the wolf attempting to bite her. If the attack lands, which she was positive it would, the would would most likely disperse. Using the moment of her first swing, she allowed the scythe to continue it's travel, and swing around her from above, which would stab directly through the wolf that had attempted to leap on her back. She stopped it before the blade went any further, keeping her from stabbing or harming herself from her own weapon. Leaving only the one snarling left.

Just as the explosion below went off, Revy turned her attention to the real show below, and waited to see what the man with the staff would do. Upon turning though, Revy had swung it one last time towards the snarling wolf, with somewhat of a surprise attack, or a "reap" as she ran to the ledge of the building slightly. Just for a moment, she had stopped and watched as the smoke and debris flew up and filled the street. It didn't remain long, because of the rain, so Revy immediately began running alone the roof of the building, with her scythe in hands, towards the location of the man with the staff. If the 3 hits connected, which chances are 2 out of the 3 would, she was capable of leaving the only wolf left for now, and could turn her attention back to it if she was sure it had lived. But for now, she was sure that all 3 had perished.

Depending on what the man would do, Revy would either engage with with him directly, seeing as he made his first lethal attack against her, she now looks at him as a possible enemy. And if not engage with him directly, she's hang around longer seeing how things would play out, and just stay out of whatever comes her way. Revy stopped herself about where the man was, or previously was depending on his reaction to the explosion, though still on the rooftop to what would be his right side, if the man were still facing Kaze's direction on the streets. She awaited on the ledge of the building, waiting to see how Kaze's attack would play out.

The thought of their current location would have been a problem if they were in any other village, but luckily they were in a more deserted section of the Rain Village, one where Revy always went to relax. So luckily, their battle should be uninterrupted by anyone else, such as guards, or ANBU.

Searching Without a Trace - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Searching Without a Trace   Searching Without a Trace - Page 2 Icon_minitimeMon 09 Jan 2012, 9:13 pm

Kaze's strategy was sound, but far from perfect. Masahiro was battle-hardened, and it only took one bounce of the matte grey sphere across the pavement for him to recognize it. By the second bounce, he had already inhaled, letting his left hand fall free from the staff, and raise in front of his mouth. The smoke bomb popped.

"Daitoppa!"

Upon it's dispersal, the entire contents of the smoke bomb were blown directly back towards Kaze, clearing Masahiro's field of vision. He only had time to make note of two distinct things before he had to act however; 1. Clone 2. Scythe! Spinning once on his heel, Masahiro let his own staff fly, having been holding it in only a single hand at it's far end, it carried the momentum into a dangerously powerful spin, cutting through the air like a giant shuriken. It and the scythe collided some twenty feet in front of the sannin, the exploding tag went off and Kagai-kinrei was sent on a return trip from an anonymous explosion. Exploding tags... Masahiro grimaced, for Kaze Uchiha was pulling out as many stops as he could. Had Masahiro decided per chance to simply dodge the scythe, the explosion surely would have caught him. Now he simply caught his loyal staff, transferring it's momentum into a one-handed spin until it came to rest behind his back, his free hand forming yet another hand seal. He had still been keeping mental note of the kunoichi and her position, his peripheral vision having noticed the fall of his wolves, with the hand seal, he made use of their destruction.

[Interrupt]A lattice of ice sprouted before her, sharp pointy tendrils beginning to reach out in her direction. It grew extremely quickly, aiming to prick her skin and force her to retreat. This crystalline product was no freak of nature, but fueled by a second Masahiro, some dozen yards now behind the kunoichi, where she had slain the third wolf. The Sage of the Snowy Peaks was not only a Suiton user, he was quite possibly one of the most skilled one's alive. Water was a difficult resource to destroy in battle, and Masahiro had a tendency of reusing every bit he could. From the water of the three wolves, a water clone had been made, and now it sat in a crouched position, palm against the wall of the building while a thin trail of frost ran from it to the ever growing ice sculpture. Whether or not it had actually stopped the Kunoichi, the water clone was unsure. He did know that if she didn't, or even attempted to crumble the structure with her scythe, she'd have certainly been caught within the technique, the icy brambles would have nestled their way into her skin, causing pain, but not going so far as to pierce any major arteries. With that knowledge at hand, the water clone stood, ready to face it's foe, and as it raised a hand, the whirling Kagai-kinrei stopped short in it. The clone's eyes then locked firmly on his target, the staff moved into a battle ready position, and it welcomed an attack.

The true Masahiro didn't mind lending his staff to his water clone on the other hand. He was fully aware that a single blow would disperse it, and so the staff gave it a level of protection as far as taijutsu was involved. He meanwhile had other things to tend to. With the smoke gone, it was clear where Kaze had taken shelter, and it was time to pursue. He only wished he could group the two nin together, and take advantage of them in that way. By separating as they did, they forced him into expending more chakra. Perhaps he could circumvent by other means however. Yes, a thought occurred to him now, and as it did he questioned his own intelligence for not thinking of it earlier. There was a definite chance he could reduce Kaze's chakra levels even further and if he could put it into effect, the rogue Uchiha would feel even more exposed. Leaning low, Masahiro charged the clone, and in a blur, his shoulder passed through it's stomach. The resulting smoke provided him with cover as he rounded the corner, reaching out with his palm.

"LIGHT!"

Kaze Uchiha was not inherently evil. However, that curse seal of his distinctively was. Regularly, the Mune no Tentei simply blinded a foe, if they were a form of demon, it would burn them. In Kaze's special case, it would do neither. Well, he would feel his curse mark burning unbearably, but as a side effect, he'd be unable to draw upon the power of his curse seal for a significant amount of time, as if it had been placed in remission. Masahiro was sure the abilities it endowed him with would return, but was positive, that for now, he'd have to do without. Rolling out of the clones smoke, Masahiro then leaped forward, heading straight for Kaze while he would hopefully still be dazed. The lack of Kaze's curse seal would mean two things; firstly, he'd have a smaller chakra reserve should things get hairy, but secondly, and immediately more important, he no longer had access to the greater physical strength. That same strength that until this pivotal moment, placed Kaze Uchiha as a physically stronger individual then Masahiro. Now however, as Masahiro came at the Uchiha with a low knee to the stomach, he would be outmatched, and overpowered by Masahiro's larger build.

Logically, the pieces fit. Practically, nothing ever goes to plan.

He held his right hand out to his face from the resulting explosion, while quickly stringing together hand seals as the staff returned to it's owner like that of a boomerang and Masahiro forming another hand seal. "Time to try Plan B." Kaze had decided to charge the clone as well, tracking the Sage's movements mearly with his eyes. This time, however, he had outmatched him in speed, ducking down underneath his arm as the Sage unleashed a blinding, bright light, but missing it's intended target. He built up a pint of wind chakra into his right hand so that it only surrounded his fist. He packed a strong punch as it connected with the man's chest, powerful enough to send Masahiro crashing into the wall of stone behind them. Even if Masahiro somehow managed to move out of the way, the wind chakra would have already done some lesser damage to his chest. Kaze had relied more on his enhanced physical strength than chakra, otherwise without the cursed seal, the blow would simply push the Sage back mearly a few inches. As a hidden precaution, he had prepared a substitution in case Masahiro counter-attacked, knowing fully well he would not be capable of dodging. The five hand seals that had been set moments ago were for this important reason. He would use the metal pipe that had broken off earlier as his substitute of choice.

Kaze quickly sprinted a couple yards away from Masahiro and were the bright light had been, again keeping his distance. Upon turning around he slid back a few inches, sure to shift his weight so that he did not fall face forward. He could see Revy had already taken down the wolves and now stood face-to-face with the water clone. "She seems to be managing..." He thought, keeping focus on the Sage. Though she clearly was still holding back, and of course, so was Masahiro. For a brief moment Kaze thought he sensed that cloaked figure nearby but decided to ignore the thought for now until the man interfered with their battle. And speaking of which, lucky for them they have not been attacked by Rain ninja yet. Although it possibly had something to do with their location within the city.

No one knew how well this battle will play out. But obviously enough, neither side was winning.

Turning her head slightly, Revy noticed her part of the fight was still not done. A clone had formed where she had slayed the water dogs, and there was also an ice jutsu headed her way. The jutsu blinded her sight from the clone on the other side, though it most likely did the same for the clone, seeing how the openings for the lattice were packed in tight. Revy placed her scythe on her back, and did a single hand seal. From that, a shadow clone was created directly beneath her, inside of the building. This clone had made it's way towards the location the enemy clone was at, and strung hand seals below. As the Ice Lattice made it's way towards the real Revy, she quickly strung a few simple seals together, and put her hand to her mouth, with her pointer finger and thumb facing each other, with a partial fist created. After inhaling a bunch of air, it exhaled as a large stream of fire that quickly smashed against the incoming ice attack, and began melting it away almost instantly. Revy kept the attack going for quite some time, mostly to buy her clone some time to prepare what she had been doing just below. Just as the Lattice nearly fully melted away, Revy finished her attack, but kept the flame going only slightly, and the clone below had just finished stringing together hand seals as it ran towards the opposite side of the room, where a large window was located. With it's mouth full of air and it's cheeks puffed out a bit, the clone made it's way to the top of the building along the wall, and exhaled the air, which came out with a dark texture, like a type of ash. The ash quickly engulfed the area around the clone. Because of the rain, this technique had to be executed fast, otherwise it'd be put to waste. Just as the cloud of ash made it's position, struggling against the weight of the rain, the clone grinned, and clicked it's teeth. Just after, it immediately disappeared beneath the second level of the building, just after dropping down. The the real Revy finished her flaming attack as well by launching a large fireball out of the small stream of fire that was just i front of her mouth. The fireball being the true phoenix fire technique, one the Uchiha had been taught since Genin level.

As the fireball made it's way towards the clone, if the clone had decided to react by dodging, it'd be to late, and the explosion from the cloud of ash would have already got him. The explosion was a big one, one of which was capable of crumbling the rooftop of the building they were on, as well as break a few of the walls, making the building unstable. To avoid being hit by her own explosion, Revy had leaped to the building on the other side of the street just after the fireball was launched. Her making movements so swiftly also was a way of distracting the enemy into keeping his eye on her, and perhaps even try to use a ranged attack, staying at his location. Although in the clones situation, it'd have been gone long before those thoughts could have even been processed. If it had somehow lived, Revy would ignore it for now, and move her attention to the two battling it out just behind the tower. At the angle Revy was at, she was capable of seeing what was going on. A pure melee fight of sorts being displayed. This fight had begun to annoy Revy, and the way the man with the staff brushes Revy off to the side with nothing but conjurations began to piss her off. As if she wasn't good enough to put his focus on. She wanted to end this battle quick.

Revy remained on the rooftop, waiting to see if the staffed one would try anything new.

PostSubject: Re: Searching Without a Trace   Searching Without a Trace - Page 2 Icon_minitimeTue 10 Jan 2012, 11:01 pm

The clone's clumsy grin faltered as airborne ash obscured it's vision. Seconds later, it burst into smoke, flame consuming it's very existence. Information then rushed back to Masahiro, just as...

Thwump!

The fist scored a direct hit to Masahiro's right breast, and the sound of ribs cracking could be heard. Luckily, as he was airborne, the impact was transferred into a greater portion of his body, and thus the blow didn't do as much damage as was probably intended. Even still, the shot winded the sage, and as inertia took over, he reached out to grasp the attacker's arm, trying to keep him close, he could beat him there. As his fingertips found cloth however, Kaze vanaished, nothing but a steel bar clanging to the ground to fill the void. The knowledge received from Masahiro's clone could not have been bestowed to him at a worse time, the distraction left his defense agape, and the blow made it through without so much as a complaint. And now he found himself flying, the world spinning at a dizzying rate, his hands hastening to do something.

Rock and mortar fell from the wall, a brief cloud of dust escorting it before it was beat down by the rain. As it cleared however, Masahiro seemed relatively unharmed. The fist had cracked his ribs something fierce, and he'd be feeling that tomorrow, but that wall should have been the real kicker. As he freed himself, the answer became clear; Water Demon Armor. Now cloaked in the rain that had been providing the sage with such nutrition for his suiton style, Masahiro dropped the few feet from his suspended position back down to the ground, staring into the void where Kaze had been. With the knowledge the clone had received in it's last moments, coupled with Kaze's aggresive attack, he now knew he needed to up his game. He also had a plan. Withdrawing a single blank tag from deep within his robes, using his index finger to scratch a wet marking into it. He then bent low, putting the seal down on the ground, before taking a single step forward, the bottom of his boot covering it. He'd need to protect it until he was finished. He also needed a moment to recuperate. He'd used a little too much chakra, too quickly. While he knew he had enough left to execute his plan, he'd need to expend a little more in order to buy himself some time to draw upon the necessary chakra. Forming hand seals, Masahiro then crouched again, his watery armor cutting both of his thumbs as he did, blood leaking into the liquid gauntlets. Slamming both palms onto the ground, two intricate seals spread forth. They'd be recognized by any novice nin. Summoning seals. The two clouds of smoke were large, each nearly twice the frame of Masahiro himself. Obscured within them, only the sage knew.

"Hold them off."

The cloud to his right seemed to simply implode. Whatever had been there moving so quickly as to leave a vacuum of air behind it, wherever Kaze was, had he not had his sharingan, even he would have likely missed the movement. Martes, the albino snow fox, shot into the nearest dark alleyway. From there, it stopped for a brief moment, sniffing the air, before once again taking off. In a wide loop it rounded a few buildings in a matter of seconds, it's target now located. Even at a distance, Martes appeared as a blur. While not the strongest physically of Masahiro's summons, it was indeed the fastest. Before anyone could wonder where it was headed, it shot out of the alleyways, this time a visible aura glimmering away before it. Having gained it's necessary speed a wind tunnel had formed around it, and it was with this that it now tried to bash Kaze who was now opposite a building from Masahiro. With the air now literally splitting in front of it, it aimed to barrel into him, the impact strong enough to send him sprawling. Because of the technique's nature, it wouldn't cut him, but it was powerful enough to let him feel it in the morning. Whether the attack hit or not, only Kaze and any on-lookers would know, Martes had already disappeared into the darkness between another set of buildings.

While this was going on, Enhydra, the foxes twin brother, and oddly enough, a sea-otter rather then a fox, slid lazily out of her cloud of smoke. It's nose immediately took to the air too, and soon, it seemed to have found it's target. Making a short leap, it grasped a nearby set of what appeared to be flag poles, three of them standing in a row that ran half the height of the building upon which the Kunoichi stood, and started to climb. Surprisingly, it did this unassisted by chakra, and yet still scaled the smooth, thing surfaces as if it were running along the ground. It wound it's long lither frame around the poles as if a snake would, and as it reached the maximum height they would allow, disappeared into a nearby window. A moment later it was outside again, on the other side of the building, over the same alley Martes had disappeared into, leaping from wall to wall. It did this with such a natural grace, it would have taken Masahiro longer to run up the building himself. When it reached the roof, it's lazy nature returned, head slinking over the edge to lock eyes upon her. Breathing deeply it sighed once, taking another breath inwards. As of right now, it was behind and to the ninja's right, having used it's shortcut through the building to try and flank her. ENhydra even hoped she heard the sigh, just so she'd look at the water bullet that now sped towards her upon his second inhale. An impact attack, it would do little more then send her for a tumble. That tumble, was over the edge of the building however, but it was all the same to the slack-minded otter.

Masahiro meanwhile remained still, he was now breathing heavily, but that too was making a return to a sow steady pace. He only needed a few moments. Just moments.

"Damn, seems the snowy man with the fancy stick may be a little less in charge of the situation than he thought" Naizu thought to himself as his eyes changed. Directly afterwards, he had made up his mind to intervene...to an extent at least and only enough to stir things up further. Understanding the phase of battle up to this point, he wanted to lure out the mangekyo as quickly as he could. How could he do so in a relatively quick manner? Pressure! Pure pressure to the opposition and look to ad lib from what ever came from him forcing the attack. Thing was, for the most part, it would be easier said than done when it came to a sharingan user unless you were one of them. But to Naizu, this was simply an obstacle of which he would look forward to over coming to test his prowess from the shadows.

He needed to find a good spot to get things started and why not with the element already in place, but with a twist? "If you heat water beyond a boiling point, what does one get?" he said to himself as a smile crept to his face like a bandit with valued goods. It had come to him an option of whom this woman was that he may have by passed in some way, shape or form earlier. Perhaps she was Revy Izumi, a woman who would be able to sense people through a rain jutsu and had worked with Vizer prior. It would make sense as to why Kaze looked to attack her, then changed his mind as he may have realized he needed her to take on a foe such as Masahiro. If that was the case, staying out of the rain was a good option and knit picking would be ever so fitting. Turning to the window he had his back to, he looked to lift it, knowing nobody was home since he hadn't heard a single thing inside the entire time he sat. As luck would have it, the window was unlocked and the Canine Sage hopped inside as he would immediately make his next move.

Forming two hand seals, two Naizu's appeared as one was to his left and right respectively and waiting for the go sign. Waltzing to the door with a semi arrogant swagger, he opened it made his way to the bottom of building and upon opening the entrance door and looked about. All the buildings to the sides held awnings, perfect to keep from the rain and mask their location further. As he stepped out, the clones made their way opposite him as he spoke low, "Out of site, out of mind and out of rain means just fine". With that, the two shot east and west about 50 feet of Naizu and as they stopped, the kneaded hand signs. As they did so, Naizu was making his own as a strong steam came from the ground and quickly covered the are of battle. Totaling around 75 meters of circumference and 30 feet of height, the steam would be perfect masking clones jutus.

Seeing as there would be a mass of shadow like figures as was, a bunch of fire lit hounds running about in the steam would blend in well. The object of this was simply to cause chaos about the scene, so Naizu took back up stairs quickly after the steam was made. The clones held their position as their creator watched on from the window and listened as well as searched for all scents to match the shinobi and kunoichi. "Hehehehe, what will you all do? What will you all do?" he spoke to himself, expecting a certain outcome yet hoping for another. The last thing he wanted was to make things easy for the combatants as he wanted to move more pieces and enjoy the carnage a bit. Each of the hounds took separate angles and routes as Naizu had hoped all the hounds would find Kaze but expected a mixed outcome. The clones as well as Naizu awaited the outcome.

(This is not a counter to any specific attack, set of plans or any possible concoction you three may have up your sleeve. Simply producing chaos...hopefully).

It seemed Masahiro managed to put up a guard moments before Kaze striked the man with an aggressive punch to his stomach. Kaze made a mental note to effectively counter that suiton armor next time he uses such a strategy. He had been relocated behind the damaged skyscraper after Masahiro had attempted to take hold of him, only to be replaced by a foot long pole. He stood in the middle of darkness with little light, quiet and alone. The alley stretched more than thirty yards but he could not tell because of the dark, the moon was not providing the necessary amount of light he needed. No doubt the man was most likely still laying down in a broken stone wall, recovering. Kaze had enough to time to take a very short break and think his battle strategies throughly.

However, his thoughts were interrupted when his ears picked up a short poof sound, like a miniature, marble-sized smoke ball going off. "A summon." Most definitely, that had to be the case. Not long afterwards, maybe ten seconds later, he saw a small blur speed by as if it was headed to some unknown destination. It was only because of his sharingan that he able to better detect that thing was, since he could see chakra. "Is that... a fox?" It looked like one but he had already marked it as a foe. The fox sped down the dark alley with such speed Kaze only had a second to fend off the attack. He formed a one-haned kai seal and then leaped over the fox as it stumbled to the ground. Because at the quickness he had executed the technique, it would only keep the fox down for only two seconds. He had landed on his toes, quickly stamping a note on the ground and sprinted down the alley without making much sound. The note was revealed to be an exploding note, and it had set off, as the explosion drew everyone's attention.

After fifty yards he turned left and scampered up a six-story building like that fox may have, slowing down as he got closer to the top. He walked to the left corner of the building, staring down at the open alley where Masahiro's first attack had been made on them. From the north was Revy, who seemed to facing a small mammal like he had, but he could not identify it from his location. Kaze turned his body to face the mysterious new threat that had emerged: a growing cloud of mist. No... steam. And thanks to the steam, it gave away the man may be located, roughly. His sharingan could recognize chakra by its color, so if anyone other than the cloaked guy were to attack, he would be able to detect them without too much difficulty. But of course, the building stood higher than thirty feet, allowing to observe the scenario freely without worrying too much. Still though, he was alert of his surroundings. Kaze again summoned his scythe, prepared to slice any foe that dared to attack without thinking first.

Standing atop the building still, Revy remained there awaiting anything else the freak with the staff had decided to conjure up for her. She was on her last nerve, and was getting increasingly annoyed, and pissed off. Revy's Ukojizai had began to wear off. Her senses of her surrounding had gotten lower, and from that, one of the mans summonings had managed to get behind her without her noticing, while she was in thought. She heard the sound of a sigh behind her, which had made her turn around quickly. Though all she saw was a large bullet of water rushing her way, covering the view of the one that had launched it. Before she could react, the bullet had hit her point blank. The power of it was great enough to knock her off her feet, as well as bring out a small scream from the pain of the impact. Because she was towards the end of the building, the bullet had knocked her off, and with the direction it was headed, would smash her against the side of the building, at an angle, which it had. The impact wasn't enough to destroy the building, but it was enough to make it crack, as well as crater in. It was also enough to cause Revy to suddenly disperse into water that fell lifelessly to the ground. Just before she had taken the impact from the bullet itself, Revy had started her substitution technique, but held in a little longer to confuse the beast, and make it think the hit truly connected.

Arising from where she now was, at the base of the building she was suppose to collide with, Revy began walking towards Masahiro, with a very annoyed look on her face, when suddenly a thick steam suddenly swept in, blinding her from sight. Though within the blanket of steam, a feint vision of eyes became noticeable. Eyes that held a ripple-like pattern over the eyeballs, with a light purple iris and sclera. The eyes of the Rinnegan. Beneath the steam, Revy made her way towards the man with the staff, that was holding his position as if he were trying to defend something. Revy isn't one for playing hide and seek, so she made a quick hand seal, and activated her Reverse Rain technique. A Jutsu that no one has witnessed before, due to no one ever lasting this long in a fight with her. The same can be said with her Rinnegan. The moisture in the area had suddenly changed, and rain drops began to raise into the air at a fast pace. The appearance it gave off was as if Revy had turned the Rain Storm upside down. The steam that blanketed the area became slightly less think as well, from the moisture now raising back into the air. This reversed rain would last until all moisture on the ground has been placed back into the clouds, which can sometimes last as long as the rain storm had itself. With her scythe in hand, Revy disappeared from her location, with enhanced speed, one that even the sharingan may have trouble keeping up with. With swift speed, Revy appeared about 30 feet in front of the man with the staff, and held her hand out towards him. Her other hand, being her right hand, held her scythe, ready to make a swing.

"Bansho Tenin!.."

A sudden shift in gravity had took place around the man, and suddenly, it was as if something was pulling him to her. Small pebbles, as well as the debris behind the man from the crash he took also dragged across the ground, but at a slow speed, due to them not being the intended target. If the man is unable to resist the force of gravity pulling him, which no matter the strength, is nearly impossible, Revy would swiftly reap him with her scythe, which she held up slightly, getting ready to put that plan into action. Instead of using a fully powered Bansho Tenin, Revy only used it around the rank of C, which given the type of ability it is, is still just as devastating as the higher ranks, but with less of a pulling force, but still enough to lift the man off his feet, and pull him in easily. A simple, yet devastating attack. For now, she ignored the summons, as they would have a hard time spotting her location beneath the blanket of steam.

Martes came close, but just before he struck, an unknown force locked his body into submission. With his legs refusing to move, he crumbled to the ground, rolling into an uncomfortable pile at the base of the building to his right. Eyes frozen, he then watched as Kaze landed where he had been only fractions of a moment before, putting something on the ground. It was a tag, and it began to burn. Whimpering, Martes stared on, unable to move.

Masahiro's head twisted towards the sound of the explosion, unsure who had generated it. He had a feeling it didn't bring good news though. He hadn't time to dwell on the thought however, the strange kunoichi appearing some distance out to his left. Now what might she be up to? If anything, she certainly wasn't happy. She seemed a little disheveled, and slowly began to approach him. It was then however, that the steam fell upon the battlefield, Naizu finally having decided to do something. Masahiro smirked, getting ready to dash off to a different position, planning on changing positions in order to take advantage of the low visibility. Staring out into the mist, he spotted several of Naizu's steam bodies, drifting about hazily. Every so often they'd be lit by a flaming entity prowling around, his hounds. The battlefield belonged to them for the time being, now he just needed a better vantage point. He was about to move when he spotted it.

"No.... It... can't be!"

He took an instinctive step backwards, at the moment he couldn't help it, those two purple eyes digging into his soul. He was unsure if she could see him yet, having only briefly heard of the Rinnegan from time to time and thus had no idea what power it truly contained. For a moment, it vanished, and Masahiro found himself frantically reaching for his staff, only empty air finding his grasp. Dammit. He wasn't sure how to defend himself, so his staff felt absolute needed. He had lent it to the clone however, and was too preoccupied with Kaze to have called it back. Gravity seemed to reverse for a moment, or did it? The rain that had previously pooled in puddles on the ground began to rise, droplets falling upwards into the sky. Masahiro wasn't sure if it was a technique that was performing the effect, or just the sheer change in power acting upon the universe around them. As the eyes then reappeared before him, some ten yards out, he readied himself.

It made little difference however. The effect was subtle at first, but quickly grew to it's full strength, lifting Masahiro off the ground like a doll and throwing him. No, pulling him, his body raced towards the eyes. In the little time he had, he now understood what had caught his attention early. This was how it ended. He reached out a hand in a futile attempt to stop himself, his luck had ran out. The scythe came down.

And was stopped by Kagai-kinrei.

The staff had fallen from the grip of the water clone as the flames had engulfed it, rolled off the building, and landed in the street, some ten or fifteen meters behind where Masahiro's attacker now stood. The sage knew nothing of this, but having reached out his hand in such a desperate state, the staff reacted in kind, spinning into his grip. It now held strong against the pole-arm of the scythe, the weapon's massive blade only inches from Masahiro's side. In surprise, Masahiro formed two quick hand seals with his free hand, knowing he had to get out of there. He was fully aware that the Rinnegan possessor would be just as much, if not more surprised, her gravitational pull failing once Masahiro had something he could leverage himself against. With the completion of the second single-handed seal, the tag that the sage had placed on the ground, now thirty feet behind him, activated. The Grand Labyrinth opened.

Before either Masahiro or his entangled partner could react, a wall of water blasted up beneath them, using what it could of the remaining water on the ground. The effect connected with his staff, just as it would her scythe, knocking him back several feet. In moments, the labyrinth was complete. A massive stretching maze comprised of nothing but water, this technique was possibly the most impressive, complex and costly of all that Masahiro had in his arsenal. It required a vast knowledge of Suiton manipulation, as well as Fuinjutsu techniques, and now that it had risen, he was sure if anything could at least delay the Rinnegan, it would be this.

The maze was five twisting miles of solid water, the Rinnegan user, now at one end of it, and the tag at the other. Due to the area, it was compacted, only occupying about a square mile for space, but layered, having multiple floors. It even went so far as to scale some of it's many paths up the walls of the buildings around them, being sure to seal off any exits it could find there, as it stretched upwards, attempting to entrap Kaze Uchiha as well. By itself, the maze was a masterpiece. A deadly one at that. If the tag wasn't removed, the walls would implode, crushing anything that still existed within. Those very same walls, would also absorb the chakra of any technique sent their way, transferring it all the way to be stored in the tag at the far end. It was indestructible, the only way to escape, remove the tag.

Masahiro huffed and puffed, breathing heavily. A mere five feet was the only distance he had gained from his assailant, but with a wall of water between them, and no direct path for them to meet, he feared little now.

"So... The Sage of the Six-Paths did have a successor? I didn't expect today would be the day I'd meet her."

His voice echoed, reverberating against the very walls themselves, impossible to pinpoint.

"You've given me much to think about. Now is not the time to address my thoughts however. I'm sure later we'll do battle. If you can get out, that is."

Nothing left to say, Masahiro turned and left, walking through a wall behind him. Minutes later, he reconvened with Naizu, standing within a nearby window, peering out onto the scene. The man was the only thing not caught within the maze today, simply because he wasn't an opponent. "You could have helped me sooner... I need to retreat, heal, train. If you choose to stick around, my maze may give you an edge, it may also kill you. Your choice." With that being said, Masahiro then body-flickered away, landing on top of a building across the way, to look down on the maze. Lost in thought, his eyes broke way from the twisting water paths as he heard whimpering, moments later, he dropped down into a nearby alley.

"Martes..."

He was wounded, gravely. Bloodied and broken, he lay in a heap, having been thrown nearly a hundred meters by the explosion and resulting debris. Masahiro quickly rushed to his side, dropping to a knee. His hands passed over the fox gently. "It's okay boy, we're getting you out of here." The sage allowed his staff to collapse back into it's appropriate tattoo, and then, in a fantastic display of strength, lifted Martes onto his shoulders. It might have been similar to see a man lift a grizzly bear, and it was only for the love Masahiro had for his beloved friend, that he succeeded. Like a mother bear, he would protect those he loved. Whistling, Enhydra appeared beside him moments later, and Martes was then transferred to giant otter.

"Take him home. We'll avenge him some other time."

With that, the three vanished.

With so much going on, Naizu took notice of some very situations at hand and that needed to keep in mind as it pertained to the ensuing battle. The fist of which was the fact that something odd happened to the, at the time, staff-less Masahiro as he was seemingly pushed or pulled toward the woman. The thing was, the steam jutsu was still perfectly in place knocking out the possibility of a wind jutsu of any sort. He never lost track of the sages whereabouts as he felt that he needed to keep tabs on him in case he wanted to lend a hand, knowing he'd be in debt to him. The next was a large mass of walls that made their way through the steam simultaneously, even scaling sized areas. One of which held the other adversary in Kaze, whom Naizu wasn't too sure if he could tell his current location though if it did, he would welcome him properly. The Sage immediately took off after the maze was created and Naizu had a feeling of where he was headed and simply smiled.

The staff master made his way to Naizu's present location as he looked to the Canine Sage and spoke of his lack luster timing to help him. "Well, it juts looked like you were having so much fun with the girl and Sharingan user, I figured 'Why help now? He's got this'. I must admit, that jutsu...probably could've forced things into a bad situation for you because I didn't really aim anything toward anyone hehe" Nai said looking through Masahiro to the maze he had created. He had questions regarding it but simply withheld them due to the quickness of a quick explanation of the situation, followed by a swift flicker away from the Sannin. He still wished to see that Mangekyo but now he was cautious as well as tempted by the thoughts of power of the young lady

"Well...lets see exactly what we've got here with these two kids eh? Are they novices with stones compared to masters with rocks? As he said that, his eyes molded once more, this time creating a splendid sighting about his body for anyone to behold as well. Weaving hand seals as he stepped out to the windows ledge once more, Naizu took an extremely deep breath prior to expelling a superior mass of water, shooting about and covering an incredible portion of the area as well as flooding it. The water would sit about 30 feet above ground and wrecked buildings to an extent, though not knocking them down. The water was special in the fact that it not only created a body of water, it was boiling as well as having a hot spot timer sort of speak. Keeping your footing in a spot for too long, wind up with a vortex under foot in addition to the excessively heated water.

The two clones, upon seeing the overshadowing of the jutsu, quickly shot to higher grounds and would meet back with Naizu, though above his location. With the building itself being roughly 55-60 foot building, Naizu was was safe from consequence of the boiling water as he was on the top floor window ledge. The clones right above him and all sets of eyes on the the maze, Naizu question the structure of this creation as he would leap into a flip backwards, landing behind his clones roughly 10 feet. It seemed to simply sit atop the water, although it was unknown as to what the walls were made of from Naizu's point of view. In his current state, it would be hard to miss if sought out because he illuminated, though that played to his advantage...as did having a doujutsu that one would have to seek info to be knowledgable of. Naizu and the clones awaited the results of his actions as steam ran roughshot due to the stealth jutsu and the Crimson Flood. On top of that, the heat rose to very close to extreme conditions with all of this in the now, begging the question of what could the Uchiha or the woman do at this point?

Name:Refined Perception
Rank:-
Element:-
Description:The fourth stage of the Oakegan thought to be but a legend. Its said to give the holder unfathomed wisdome and 4 fold over The Heavens Vision power. It is unknown how many jutsu this stage of the clans doujutsu hold but its said there are atleast two. Along with increasing the strength of the nin and genjutsus of the holder 3 fold, its said that the holders chakra illuminates from them, enticing foes and causing genjutsu if one looks at the user for too long (looking at the user until the end of a post).

Name:Crimson Flood
Rank:S
Element:Water/Fire
Description:(Can only be used during Refined Perception) Chakra Based red water will flood the surroundings the user can control the calm and fierceness of it. Beyond having the Refined Perception, there is no way to protect yourself from this water for it is near immediate vortex upon staying in a single spot for longer than 3 seconds. The reason the user of the jutsu is protected is because of the specific chakra signature the R.F. brings with it, allowing the user to retain position without consequence. The vortex start at a 5 foot radius but each time one appears, it will expand and additional 2 feet. The water itself is at a boiling point and where steam is emitted and heat bubbles regularly appear on the surface of the water when the jutsu is initially done and the vortex's will slowly cause a cooling of the water. The user can only use this 2 times per battle.
(The water will receed after 5 post)

PostSubject: Re: Searching Without a Trace   Searching Without a Trace - Page 2 Icon_minitimeFri 20 Jan 2012, 1:25 am

Moving quickly, Kaze scampered across the rooftops without catching the attention of the three ninja below. The buildings seemed to get shorter like a flight of stairs as he jumped down from roof to roof. The steam had somewhat concealed their presence from normal eyes, and each of them could use it to their advantage. Thump! He landed onto the damaged roof of the skyscraper they had been on top of. Apparently, the roof held strong and had not collapsed from the explosion. A small crater, and what appeared to be a large scorch mark, was the only visible damage done.

To his right, Revy had already made her way to the bottom and confronted Masahiro. He did not expect the battle to immediately turn in her favor. She used another space-time technique, manipulating the natural forces of gravity to pull him with reach of her scythe. Masahiro was literally swept off his feet unexpectedly, and only seconds to save himself. Her weapon gleamed in the night as the blade came down, it was the end for the Snowy Sage. Or was it? His sad fate had been prevented by the appearance of his trustworthy staff, blocking the large blade just seconds before it cut clean through his flesh. He had been saved through sheer luck.

When the Sage was being pulled towards Revy, Kaze had spotted a small tag stamped to the ground. He immediately took action, assuming Masahiro had placed it there as a trap or trump card. He unwrapped the bandages on his left arm and summoned a shuriken, throwing it at the tag below. However, a fountain of water yanked the tool out of the air and sent it away. The shuriken had been only inches from the target, and a moment too late. Walls of compressed water began to rise from the shallow pool, expanding in length and height. Kaze ran a few yards east, then headed south, attempting to escape the technique's range. He stopped running after a while to catch his breathe, his attention focused on the newly created maze. He stood on the building beside the tower Naizu was stationed at, the stone structure being three stories tall.

"Alright. Break is over." He relaxed, then ran across the side of the structure and avoided the steam altogether. Now that Revy was busy with Masahiro, he planned on tracking that mysterious cloaked man. Unknowingly, he was being tracked the entire time by a pack of hounds but hadn't known of their presence due to his constant movement. But as he ran, he eventually realized something may be following behind from within the cover of the steam. He stumbled upon Masahiro's conversation with that man, watching them unseen from the side. He had already decided to let Masahiro go, as he had no intention of killing the Sage. After he disappeared from the scene, Kaze prepared a substitute and launched an attack after the man stepped out to the windows ledge.

A shuriken flew pass barely an inch from Naizu's chest and disappeared into the far off distance, purposely missing its intended target. If paid close intention, he would have noticed that the shuriken was glowing a faint blue. Kaze stopped a couple feet away to the right, confronting his new opponent. His expression quickly changed as he saw a glimpse of his pursuers. A pack of angry, flaming hounds, giving off the intent of chewing, scorching and tossing him around like a ragdoll. One of them didn't hesitate in biting his left arm, or what would have been his left arm. The disappointed hound was left with a steel rod in its mouth, attached with an explosive tag. Kaze appeared roughly twenty feet above them as the explosion went off. He quickly strung together hand seals and blew a flammable mist from his mouth, targeting the explosion below. The heat from the steam also helped to lengthen the range and deadliness of the explosion.

His tactic, if successful, would end the fight in a single turn.

As Revy's blade came down upon the man, he was saved by pure luck. His staff suddenly appeared in his hand, and stopped her scythe from going any further, and finishing the job. Her blade was only inches away from cutting through the man, and a look of disappointment, yet with a twist of shock was on her face. The mans staff was quite an interesting weapon, and she wondered how it had been able to move at such a speed, to have appeared before him at an instant. But she'd look over that later, as she needed to make another move quickly.

"Asura Path!"

Just as the right side of Revy's back began to take on a strange form, and a 3rd hand had extended out, bearing saws, and sharp blades all over it, a sudden wall of water rushed up from between them, separating them, and once again stopping Revy from being able to make a finishing blow. Just as the mans actions were set into play, another Revy had made herself noticeable in the distance, atop a large building. The rushing wall of water that had separated Revy, and Masahiro, has managed to knock that Revy back, and disperse into a cloud of smoke upon making contact with the ground. The Revy that had pulled Masahiro in, and launched the attack, was none other then the shadow clone Revy had created, and hid after making her attack on the fake Masahiro, then swapped places with just after substituting out of the summonings water bullet attack.

The real Revy, now the only Revy, stood atop a large building, and watched as what looked like a maze of water had began to cover the area. To avoid the maze, as well as what looked like a surprise attack by the second man who had been hiding the whole time, Revy jumped high into the air, and remained in the air a few hundred feet above the buildings. It appeared as if she simply stood on air. Her eyes followed the man with the staff as he quickly ran off, carrying his wounded summoned companion, then suddenly switched to the direction the large wave of water had came from. It appeared as if Kaze had already found, and attack the man once he had revealed his presence. Now informed if his location, Revy remained where she was, in the air, and held a single hand seal. Not to keep herself in the air, but instead, to position the giant spear of rain she had created above the clouds, directly over top the location of the man. At any second, she could call it down to crash down on the entire location, but she decided to wait.

"Seriously?" Naizu thought to himself as he observed the Uchiha's actions and formulating a counter move in the duration of them. A shurriken came zipping towards Naizu's chest but he was unphased as he simply allowed it to pass him by, though he did not the glow of it. Due to its course, he could tell it wasn't aimed at him, but simply to him of which allowed him to keep stationary. The clones both turned to the face the man head up as on of the heated hounds came rushing towards him in an attempt to bite him. With quick thinking, Kaze had already prepared a substitute for some occasion though Naizu doubted this specific one being what he had in mind. A pipe was instead bitten with an explosive tag rigged to it, one the three all took note of immediately and took course of action. Naizu shot down below, landing on water that flooded the area.

The clones both shot to the bottom corners respectively avoiding the blast of the explosive tagged hound as it went off...BARELY. The two actually slid to the corners afterward taking note of the secondary smoke that came in fast. "I see what he's trying to do...but no dice" Naizu said to himself from below as he noted the mans moves from below. The fact was that Kaze was using a jutsu of a flammible mist, and looking to set it off with the happenings of the hound and explosive tag. The problem would lie in the location and with the jutsu in play as though the steam was hot, it was also keeping things damp. To add in was the factor of the rain in the village, making things go a dud for the Uchiha for the moment. This would allow Naizu to take the course of aggressor, but not before he took a moment to pay a bit closer attention to the area of the now descending Uchiha. Above him seemed to be someone...could it be the woman whom was now no longer in the area of the maze?

He only took a moment to gander at the possibility but during that time, the clones took a shot Kaze through masking them in his own attack. The clone on the left had a better angle for the attack as it was first to take to it as the opportunity presented itself. It kneaded hand seals quickly and expelled a large ball of water directly at the mans waist and head at the current time. This would mean it would either hit his forehead or miss him high, but the attack would come through the mist in an attempt at a surprise attack as he would throw a kunai with an explosive tag directly behind it.

The clone to the right would punch directly into ground, collapsing the ceiling and sending him into the top floor. Taking no time, kneaded handseals quickly and let loose a massive water ball, this one however, was directly upward. When the just as the water ball in the foggy mist came was by Kaze the left clone set off the tag spraying the hot water out into the man. The one in the sky made its descent to where it'd drop right on top of him but that had a few seconds before it dropped over top of him. The trap was laid out, and Naizu stood at the base on top of the water awaiting the outcome of the plan.

Staring directly up at the man, eying Naizu patiently, watching for his next move. The man had not realized, or simply assumed the shuriken was harmless and let it zip past his guard unknown to the fact it was infused with wind release chakra. Kaze immediately took this chance to take control of the shuriken, it quickly responded to the will of it's opponent and embedded itself below Naizu's left shoulder blade, the chakra only deepening the cut and stinging his skin. Looking down at his own chest, a long gash scarred his clothing and skin, fresh blood trickling down from the two new wounds. Kaze let off an odd smirk of satisfaction after having successfully marked his opponent after a simple mistake, and using his sharingan, he planned to keep track of the real copy and eyed Naizu as he landed on the steamy waters below.

Thanks to Revy's earlier technique, Reverse Rain, the explosion shook the tower with help of using the combined heat of the hounds and tagged pole. He smirked at the fact that the clones attempted to mask themselves in the explosions cover. His sharingan gave him the Eye of Insight, allowing him to see the flow of chakra and much more. Kaze performed the bird hand seal and inhaled deeply, vertically overlapping his hands over his mouth and shot a stream of high velocity wind directly at the clone on the left. The technique easily pierced through the waterball and knocked back the tagged kunai, then hitting the clone at full power and dispersing it. "One down." He thought while falling down from the roof. He quickly and carefully maneuvered his way down, avoiding deadly chunks of stone and metal alike. Kaze landed on the water that flooded the area, slowly rising to his full height, standing over thirty feet away from Naizu. His three tomoe had already changed moments before to resemble a black pinwheel, his body shrouded by a faint, white aura. He took short steps, slowly degrading the number of feet between the two, and glaring into his eyes.

Revy still stood high in the air, not moving from her current position. She watched as both Kaze, and the unnamed man settled their fight below. She leaned to the side slightly in the air, levitating in one place. The rain still continued to rain upside down, and was only lengthened by the mass amount of water the man had created below. If she allowed it to continue raining in that direction, when reversed once again, it would rain in sheets for quite a while. Though, she left it as is for now, simply watching the outcome of the fight below. She didn't care who won, and there was no point in her interfering. With the Sage gone, it was just the 3 of them there.

(Yea it's short, but I'm not doing anything at the moment, so no point in making it lengthy)

(RULING: Because Kaze failed to avoid, or even mention the second ball of water that was aimed in the air, Naizu is capable of auto hitting with that ability. But Naizu, be more descriptive with your posts, even i had a hard time understanding what exactly you just did there)

As the shurriken latched into Naizu's shoulder, he winced a bit, before grabbing and removing it. Tough as the leather was, the weapon still found its way into Naizu without fail and slashing across his chest as well. Observing the man as he matriculated his way though a portion of the clones attacks, Kaze found success in destroying a clone and its attack. Problem was that he''d missed the second attack from the alternate clone and scaled down the building rapidly, unknowing of the oncoming attack. Unforeseen however, was the fact that he would armor himself during the end of his descent neutralizing the attack. As the man stood, an Uchiha specialty dawned with him in Susano'o, though it was different than Nai recalled from tale. The Nimakee clan leader took on gloss to his eyes though still in the same design, he could see his opponent locking eyes with him. Naizu loved when people were as cocky as he, simply because he knew he could back his up and enjoyed to see others try to. The man was staring death in the face looking at the Nimakee's eyes as he did, but Nai knew of three possibilities of reason.

This day, an Uchiha would understand that their eyes may not be as prized as the so claimed them, for testing bloody waters would bring about a hungry shark. From out the blue, a set of wolves would launch themselves through the large pale guardian and latch onto Kaze. Maliciously they would claw and maul, bite and tear at his flesh...in his mind. Indeed, Naizu had bated his opponent into a genjutsu, as he had hoped to have this opportunity to battle with the "cream of the crop" when it came to the doujutsu class. At the location Naizu was formerly looking on while the snowy sage battled, the remaining clone lurked as Naizu now at a curved angle. The technique, unknown to the Uchiha was also amped up in major fashion due to the Oakegans final stage traits. To add in, Kaze was also on deadly waters which at this heat level, would begin to eat away at his defense should Naizu launch any of his water based attacks and connect with Susano'o using the current water field. But for Naizu, time would begin to be of the essence with this move as the water level was depleting slowly, luckily, the technique would place Kaze at a halt. As the cloaked man would move about the waters, he would begin to store chakra into his left eye...

Name: Wolves Fury
Rank:A
Element:Genjutsu
Description:This is activated by looking at Naizu's eyes or Naizu, by choice, touching the foe. The world as the enemy sees it changes into them being knocked down and unmercifully clawed. The mauling starts with three wolves and three more are added with each post.

(The water will receed after 5 post [2 post remain])

The moment those wolves appeared, they stood motionless for a single second before turning on their caster, the cloaked man, biting his limbs and clawing at his clothing. Kaze had stopped walking but remained unfazed, immediately bending his knees and launched himself upward, powerful winds bursting out from the epicenter and cutting through everything within range. He started to spin as he climbed into the lower atmosphere, allowing the fuuton to continously target his surroundings. Quickly reaching into his pouch, he pulled three kunai and threw them in the original's direction. These kunai were not only tagged but also charged with wind release chakra and traveled at higher speeds with help of the fuuton winds. A second later, the tags went off and devastated the area with seering hot flames, which were greatly enhanced by his wind release technique.

Kaze propelled himself east and landed gracefully on top of a building right across from the ruined skyscaper. The ribs of susanoo surrounding his body like a floating and weightless armor. His eyes shifted left and right, analyzing the resulting damage and tracking the targets. "There is something about that man..." Picturing those eyes in his mind, Kaze then realized that the man was most likely a Nimakee. He could tell there was similarity between this man's eyes and the ones Nobunaga had described three months ago. Kaze glanced up at the night sky, just noticeing a small figure floating above them. "Revy?" Shaking his head, Kaze peered down at the battlefield and waited impatiently for the outcome.
