Ki's Team, Continued Training.

miyuki rolled her eyes and climbed a tree to get a better seat at his training. with that, she took a nap.

Jouten felt a little disappointed about being beat by a girl. A girl that looked younger than he was. But he didn't mind. He perfered not to be the leader. He wasn't "leader" material. Or so he thought.
But the sensei's words caught his attention. He glanced over. "What kind of technique you have in mind, sensei?"

"Well, it's quite obvious you have a lightning affinity, which is good, but you're using it incorrectly, which is easier, but wrong." Metaru paused, mentally reviewing Jouten's techniques. "You see, lightning isn't as blatantly powerful as water or fire, or even earth for that matter when it comes to punching power. But it's faster, more dangerous at longer distances. When you conduct it through something, that slows it down, reducing it's power. You need to learn how to harness raw lightning, instead of directing it through the ground. So I'm going to attempt to teach you my very own Lightning Blast technique, alright?"

Jouten listened to what he had to say. He made a good point. Jouten looked down at his hands. Small sparks bounced around in his palms. He nodded and glanced back up. "I'm in."

Metaru smiled, "Good, first things good, leaf test." metaru walked over to a tree, and plucked a leaf, then five more. Handing Jouten the first leaf, Metaru leant back against a tree. "Summong your chakra into the leaf, it should crumple. I want it fully crumpled, show me that you have pin point chakra control."

Jouten held his hand out as Metaru placed the leaf in his hand. He looked down at it. Pin point control? I don't think I really been trained to do so. Let's see what I got. Jouten put his other hand over his open palm. He focused his chakra to his hand and turned it into electricity. He felt the energy within his hands. Sparks bounced in and around his hands. It then came to a stop. He removed his hand from over the leaf.

From the looks of it, the leaf had crumpled from the outside, working its way to the middle. But the center of the leaf was still partially smooth. It was not completely crumpled. Jouten looked at it in disppointment and then up at his new sensei. "Sorry. I'll have to work on this a bit. But I'll get it in no time." Jouten tried to crack a smile, but he was too focused on the leaf. He wanted to get it done quickly so he can learn a new technique. But he remembered what Metaru said about him rushing in too much. He needed to pace himself. He didn't want to appear weak and incompitent.

Metaru took a look at the leaf. "Oh yeah, I forgot the other half, sorry, ahehe, I think I kind of tricked you into thinking this was easier. Here." He passed his hand over the leaf, smoothing it out again, as well as dropping the other five he had grabbed around the leaf in a circle. "Be sure to only place chakra into the middle leaf, and nothing else. Have fun." Metaru then leant against a tree himself, closing his eyes and preparing for a short nap.

"Wake me up when you're finished."

"Unbelievable." Jouten mumbled under his breath as he looked at his hand. The leaves we're in a circle around the one he was required to crumple. Damnit. This is going to be a long night. Jouten began practicing his chakra/lightning control. He continued on into the late night.

Metaru slowly drifted off into a light sleep, quite sure that it would take Jouten hours to complete the task. As he slept, he gathered spiritual energy, preparing for the next days task list.

miyukis eyes bolted open as the senseis closed. if one of them was just going to play with folage, the other one would need to keep watch. no matter how far they were in a village.

((We're actually outside the village for this training. lolz.))

A few hours have passed, and Jouten was struggling to keep on his keep. His knees were slightly buckling, but he continued to stand. Almost there. Alllmoooost there! He spread his legs farther out and bent his knees. He stretched his hands out, leaves in between them. He growled and grunted as sparks began to fly out from within his hands. Slight chirping can be heard. "Eeeerrghh... Ahhh..." A bright flash appeared from his palms. Jouten sighed and panted. Smoke rose from his palms. He glanced down at his hands, wondering what the result was. He lifted his hands away. He then had a huge grin on his face. The other leaves were perfectly smooth. Not one cinged. But the center leaf was a different story. It was pitch black, still smoking from the electrical charge. It was nearly crumpled into a ball. Jouten carefully placed the leaf and the other ones around it on the floor. He then leaned back and collapsed on his back. He had been constantly undergoing this training for the last 5 hours. Time had seemed to fly by.

"HEY!! I'M DONE!!" Jouten then collapsed out of exhaustion.

Metaru's eyes clicked open.

"Good, I'm sure Miyuki's tired of watching this by now." He then leapt up, taking a few steps to jouten's position, picked him up by the scruff of his neck and placed him on his feet. Charging his hand with static, he then placed it on Jouten's forhead, jolting him thoroughly. It would be a harsh wake-up call.

"We're not done, I am a ninjutsu specialist, I rely on ninjutsu, this means my chakra reserves are amazingly deep. If you wish to be the same way, you must constantly be pushing your own limits. you still have chakra to spare, now stand at attention!"

Jouten's head jerked back and he trusted a punch in Metaru's direction. It was simply a reaction to the harse level of voltage running through his body. "WHAT THE HELL!!!" He dropped onto his ass and grabbed his head. Damnit... I thought I could absorb a lot, but that amount of electricity was insane... He looked up at Metaru. "What the hell maannn?!?! That was..." He paused. He tilted his head and had a surprised look on his face. "Refreshing." He regained his posture. His ability to convert some of the electricity into more chakra was very helpful. He stood up tall and stretched. "So yeh... Take a look." He made a gesture towards the leaves on the floor. He had a proud grin on his face.

"Metaru..."
Kitsuke appearead in nowhere...
"You've got to come with me..."

Metaru's armor absorbed the punch easily, probably dealing more damage in return to Jouten's fist.

"I noticed, on to phase two." Metaru went and picked up another leaf, "You should now be able to concentrate that pinpoint chakra anywhere through your tenketsu. Grabbing Jouten's hand, he forced it into a gun like form, his index and middle finger pointed outwards. He then stuck the leaf to the tips of Jouten's fingers.

"Crumple the leaf on the tips of your fingers. This should only take you a few tries. So be quick about it." He then turned his head, looking towards Kitsuke. "I'll be back when you're finished." He stepped towards Kitsuke. "Yeah, yeah, I get the deal." Metaru was being surprisingly easy going.

"Ok..."
"Let's go to the Raikage's Office..."

Kitsuke whispered 'Thanks"

Disappearing in a flash, metaru reappeared some twenty to thirty minutes later.

"Done yet?"

Jouten watched the other two vanish to their next destination. He then looked at the leaf on his fingertips. Forget them. I can do this, no problem. He closed his eyes. He began charging chakra through his body, focusing it to his hand. Once it all accumilated in his hand, he slowly began to focus it into his two extended fingers. He felt the chakra built up. He had to release it. Electricity began to coat his fingers. I can't rush. I can't rush this. The less failures, the quicker I get positive results.

His eyes flashed open. He quickly thrusted his hand forward, leaf still on the tip of his fingers. A bolt of electricty was shot out at an extreme speed. The leaf travelled a few feet until the bolt vanished. It floated to the ground. Jouten glanced down at it. It was burnt to a crisp, a massive hole in the middle. Jouten felt proud of his accomplishment. But he still didn't crack that grin of his. He seemed frusterated. [i]Was that good or should I focus it to be a smaller hole? The smaller it is, the more damage it should cause, right?

Jouten jumped up into a tree and plucked a few more leaves. He restarted his posture from before and charged his chakra again. I can do this.

About half an hour later, Metaru had returned. Jouten was leaning up against a tree, his head down.

Metaru noted the leaves on teh ground, examining one of them closely.

"Interesting, I just wanted you to crumple the leaf, showing you could keep the chakra in your two fingers long enough before releasing it. Unfortunately, you skipped to the third step, which in theory, should dematerialize the leaf completely simply due to the air being hot."

He examined more of the leaves. "You need to concentrate more chakra into the shot, they haven't been travelling very far have they? Didn't think so, the idea is to channel as much chakra as possible, and let it spew out the top, rather then pushing it out, lightning is an odd element, it needs to move on itself, naturally. Keep trying."

there was a guy in a tree above jouten. there was a noose around his neck and the noose was tied to the tree. his feet standig on nothing.

Jouten lifted his head up. He was a little comforted with the comment. At least I was able to skip a few steps. He then stood up and hit his head on something. "Hey! What the fu..." He froze. A body was hung from a noose in the tree above him. He took a step back. He was angry. "WHEN THE HEEELLLL... DID THIS GET HERE!!![/i] He then grabbed the body by the leg and yanked it down from the tree. "I hate getting scared like that!!" The body thrusted onto the ground with a loud thud.

nozomu coughed. "WHY THE HELL DID YOU PULL ME DOWN?!?!?!?JEEZ!!!!!"

Jouten laughed, still irritated. "It was a reaction, sorry!!"

Metaru groaned, having ran into Nozomu a couple months ago. "Nozomu, can't you pick somewhere else to hang yourself then above my pupils head?"
