Sworn Through Swords (ORPDM[P])

The day was warm, with few clouds blocking the sun in the sky. Out in a large grassy plain stood Revy Izumi, awaiting the one she was to meet here to finish some business from quite some time ago. Her opponent, was Masahiro, current Hokage, as well as the Sage of the snowy peaks. Awaiting his arrival, Revy stood her ground, arms folded, in the center of the grassy field. There weren't any tree's around, not obstacles such as boulders, or rocks. The grass was no taller then the average persons ankle, and the dirt below was dry, and firm.

Revy was dressed in her regular outfit, which alone, had many things that can be useful in serious battles. Such as the material it's made out of, and many secret compartments used to hold weapons. On her back was the great Scythe, Acheron, Kazeshini. A unique scythe of mythical status, said to have the spirit of a demon forged within it. The scythe was as big, if not slightly bigger then Revy, and it had a wicked, large blade on it. Though despite it's size, Revy was capable of using the weapon with ease.

There was a small breeze that was constantly carried throughout the grassy field, though it had died down every so often, only to pick back up again moments later. Whether Masahiro would show up, Revy didn't know, though she did know him, and he was never one to deny a challenge. Though in this battle, no punches would be pulled. It would be a straight fight to the death, no holding back. A risky fight, but if things were to turn in Revy's favor, this could all end quickly. Revy didn't doubt the sages skill, as he had quite impressive strength and stamina, as she had seen in her previous fight, but she refused to back down from this.

Standing amidst the grassy field, Revy waited patiently for the sage to appear.

What started as a small dot, far off in the distance, soon became Masahiro, Sage of the Snowy Peaks. The grass beneath each of his long strides had a distinct crunchy sound, brought into existence by a light frosting of ice that would grow just before he put his foot down. As he neared his opponent, he smiled, but his stride continued. He eventually stopped some twenty feet in front of her.

"The Outcast Uchiha, fancy meeting you out here, and on my mid-day stroll of all times."

The smile faded into a smirk as he raised his arms as if in question. It slowly turned into a shrug as they slung back down to his sides. For now, Kagaikinrei was nowhere to be seen, yet despite what came out of Masahiro's mouth, the atmosphere made it apparent that an impending fight would occur. SO with a slight bow, eyes locked on his target, Masahiro crossed one arm over his stomach, and reached out with his other, his fingers curling inwards repeatedly, beckoning.

"Shall we begin, little one?"

The opponent had finally arrived. Bring her hand up, in front of her chest, Revy made a single hand seal. A seal that looked as if it were half of a tiger seal. She knew of the sages ice and snow like abilities, and from that, she could guess that he also was capable of using water, though she didn't know to much else about what he was capable of doing. Holding the seal, Revy examined the sage. It appeared as if his staff, Kagaikinrei, was nowhere to be seen. But that didn't change the fact that at any moment, he could call on it to aid him if needed. This much, she knew about him, and his weapon. After a moment of holding the same seal, Revy followed up by doing a quick set of seals directly after, chaining two Jutsu together, though making it appear as if it were one. Just as she finished, dark clouds filled the skies, as if rain was about to begin falling in sheets. Revy's type of weather. Above the clouds, something had begun forming, out of eyesight, hidden by the rain clouds, though forming slowly from the moisture the clouds began to gather. It would begin to speed up once the storm had begun.

Taking a quick position just before launching at the man, Revy drew her scythe immediately, and approached the sage cautiously, though with enough speed to try to catch a first blow on him. She wasn't one to start fights, though the results of the battle could easily be determined by the first attack made in the fight. If one waits around to long, it gives the other enough time to think, which could be the downfall of both sides of the battle.

Closing in on the sage, Revy swung her scythe horizontally at the Sage, and allowed the scythe to slide in her hand a little, extending it's length of reach as her hand slid to the end of the handle. If the scythe were to connect with the sage, the blade would rip through his side. Even if he were to try and parry the blow by bringing in Kagaikinrei, the blade on the scythe would still pose as a threat, as Revy would then pull back on the scythe, cutting him from behind, and possibly cutting him in two. The same can be said for if the sage were to grab the pole of the scythe, or allow it to come into contact with him, while taking minimum damage from the pole. Just about the time the first attack was made, the rain would begin falling in showers from above.

This was simply the start of the fight. A simple, yet deadly attack to begin the battle.

Today, Masahiro was wearing his full robes, unusual, but he had a feeling things were about to become, cooler. The start of the rain didn't surprise him, if anything, he welcomed it. A few flashes of lightning, and the clash of thunder, all better for the effect. Then she began her approach.

Straightening his stance, Masahiro brought his hands together, forming a single seal. Upon separating the intricate form, the fingers on his left hand clutched at his right sleeve, pulling an explosive tag from the cloth. He then ducked, stepping forward with his right to rotate under the swinging scythe and closer to his target, while angling off to her right. With his back to her, he made a quick, subtle motion with his left hand splaying out his fingers in a brief stretch, before finishing the twist, closing his right hand into a fist, and readying for a strike. As the scythe passed overhead and he stood though, a new idea occurred to him. Taking advantage of what would be the Uchiha's follow through, Masahiro opened his right hand up again and closed it as the girl's hair flew into his fingers, the resulting physics of her swing. If he could grasp it, he'd pull hard, driving his right knee into her abdomen, using the force from his spin to deliver the blow, slip of paper clutched in his opposing hands fingers, ready for it's purpose. As such he held that arm outstretched from his opponent, ready to slap it down if necessary.

For now, it was no more then a dance.
