Samurai Rules.

Some of these rules make no sense to me.
First off, why can't Samurai have special characteristics? They use chakra. They were born to the same world as the shinobi. So any special characteristics available to shinobi should be made available to them as well. Say... an Uchiha boy was separated from his family at birth and was found by a samurai, trained in their ways... no reason he can't have a sharingan.
Another thing is that shinobi have been known to use swords. That too quite proficiently, along with ninjutsu. So why can Samurai use ninjutsu at a certain level?

Samurai are NOT shinobi. Chakra is a shinobi art, taught to shinobi. That is why they can't have those things. Samurai aren't taught how to use chakra. If they were, what would be the point in having a completely separate class called the Samurai? You could just make a Kenjutsu-specialized shinobi and put him in Samurai armor. The point in a samurai is the focus on the martial arts, as opposed to the mystical. Samurai training is, traditionally, rigorous and long. There wouldn't be time to incorporate a whole new world of arts into it.

Though, I think Taijutsu should be allowed to the Samurai, as logically they would know hand-to-hand combat.

What about the special characteristics? Like exceptional strength, or stuff like that? Genetic mutations aren't class selective y'know.

He has a point on the more physical characteristics. Strength and speed should be obtainable regardless of chakra.

Some speed and strength is gained in taijutsu. Kenjutsu and taijutsu require speed. As becoming faster or stronger is still possible, just limited to how far one can go.

Actually it is quite reasonable that they have speed, but more of a better enhanced dexterity like Mifune with Iai, which is so fast he can seal ninjutsu by pulling the blade out faster then the hand seals can be completed. But strength not so much I mean they can be quite strong, but the majority of them handle normal katana's or chakra flow weapons which only have a certain amount of weight. Basically a samurai will never compare in strength to say a person with chakra enhanced strength, honestly I can see them reacting against the shinobi but actually be able to match them not so much.

They may still create custom swords with abilities and such, though the experience would be different.
