Akira Amizaru & Maneki Neko

Maneki was waiting for his partner for the exam akira to show up.THey had to make their way through the tunnel of death and get a scroll from another squad.Maneki hoped that he would be ok.

Akira was starting to move himself upwards on the road towards his destination. He didn't know who his partner was, for the most part. He didn't really pay attention to the list. He just glanced at it, thought of a few thoughts of his own, and walked on. He didn't really care. Rei-chan wasn't his partner, so, he wouldn't have much trouble looking for her, but his partner was another story. Would it be easier to find him them her? Who knew?

Maneki was starting to wonder where his partner was.To make it easer for him to find maneki he yelled out "akira your partner is over here.

Akira just looked in the direction of his new team mate, a small sigh coming towards his lips and past them, walking towards the boy within just a few short movements of his feet along the ground. ""Hello...I'm Akira amizaru, your supposed to be new partner for this exam...I warn you of two things, If we run into Rei's team, we're to spy but not attack until i give a signal, alright?" he said a bit to the boy before him now, lightly looking to him with his crimson eyes.

MAneki was happy akira had found him.HE then said to him "i dont see anything wrong with those things."He then said "lets head out into the tunnel after we decide which one of us holds the scroll do you want to or should I?"Now he waited for and answer.

"You carry it, I'm good on offense and defense, at Long range and close, just don't get near me.." he said a bit, his back turning to the boy, and his light glare towards him. He didn't like him very much, but he was his team mate and he had to deal with that fact. He began to move a bit towards the destination, his wings folding themselves outwards and back to his back, in a neat manner. It was easier to stretch them every once in a while, to keep them tame.

Maneki replied then by saying "ok i see no problem with that."He then hid the scroll somewhere on his body.HE then he started to move towards the tunnel.He looked inside it and it was big he then began to wonder how long the tunnel would take to cross.He then started the trip through the tunnel.

He just plain walked through the tunnel behind the boy before him, his mind lost in thousands of thoughts at once. He was worried for Rei and how she would turn out through the Exams. Would she be the top ninja, or will he? Not sure, but at long he got through this, it would be easy for him to win, even with an inexperienced Genin as a partner. She probably had another great ninja with her. He sighed a bit at the thought. As he thought before, he should of read the list.

Maneki though that the tunnel was very cool.THeir were many passages to take maneki hoped that they would not get lost just then maneki though he heard something.

Akira twitched his wings a bit as his dark crimson gaze slid towards the source of the object, trying to figure out what wanted to tick him off right now. Though his bow was now visible, the dark bow on his back showed a bit within the fading light, his dark anger-filled eyes glaring towards Maneki. "It's nothing, Maneki, lets move it..." he said only so much, a small 'tsk' in his voice as he turned back and continued to watch.

Maneki continued down the the tunnel.he began to wonder how his water jutsus would do against.He knew that when they met fellow shinobis that he would find out.Maneki then wondered if their was anything really interesting in the tunnel.

Akira just walked on through the tunnel, his eyes peering behind him, then back before him, his wings set in a position to quickly fly if he needed to. All 6 of them were ready to fly at any time, preparing for the worst. "Maneki, speed it up, or we'll be the first one annihilated here." he said only so loudly for him to hear. He was so bored with this exam already, all he wanted was to get to Chuunin, and work hard enough to get to Jounin, fast. Maybe it would be that easy, maybe it wouldn't, but he wanted to get this over with.

Out of the dark tunnel Kira emerged with a cigarette in her mouth half way done. She smiled as she took a small puff, releasing the smoke slowly. Kira was wearing her normal outfit, she wore a black undergarnment with purple trimmings that was covered by a larg black coat. Her long hair resting on the back of the black coat. Her large purple eyes gazed at the gennins. "Stop there" Kira said as she stuck oned arm up with her palm open and facing the gennins. She recognized one of the gennins for he was apart of her team, Kira leaned apon the side of the tunnel. Kira gazed at the floor of the tunnel as she began to speak. "Akira, it is me Kira your sensei" "You both have an oppurtunity at retreiving an earth scroll" Kira said as she looked back up towards the gennins once again.

"Now, retreiving the earth scroll is't going to be so simple" Kira said as she lifted the palm that was resting on the tunnel wall balling it into a fist, and slamming it into the wall crumbeling the wall revealing a huge gaping hole in the wall that was 3 times larger than Kira her self. "You must retreive the scroll from my little beasts here you see" Kira said as she pointed inside the new almost lair that was just slammed open. In the lair there were many large komodo dragon's. There were 7 d ranked komodos, 4 c ranked komodos, and 1 very large b ranked komodo. The size of the komodos grew bigger with there rank. The B rank komodo was fairly large about the size of 5 men put together. This komodos eyes were blood shot red and gazed ahead of him at the komodos before him. The large komodos right foot rested on the scroll, as he rested in the back of this lair. the 4 c ranked komodos stayed infront of the large b ranked komodo, and the 7 d ranked komodos infront of the c ranked komodos.

"The only way to get the scroll is to kill these komodos first, remember elements are limited so you must work as a team." The komodos mouths watered with very venomous and toxic bacteria, if a gennin was bit by these beasts they would be definetly taken out of the exams. Kira took the last puff of her ciggarette releasing it slowly again then throwing it in the pit of komodos as one clamped its feroucious jaws on it swallowing it whole. " Stay very carefull, or you will definetly suffer the consenquences" Kira said as she vanished in the dark shadows of the tunnel.

(If one gennin is taken down they all focus there attention on that gennin leaving only the b ranked komodo between the other gennin, and the scroll)
If one gennin is bit there will be a large frenzy from the komodos of not tearing and blood shed but a series of pounces that will eventually knock out the gennin. If the gennin escapes the pounces the komodos toxic bacteria will take effect making the gennin pass out and be escorted out of the tunnel of death.
Fire, and metal is the main weakness of the komodos... Almost killing them instantly they will release there toxic bacteria on the floor, and if touched with the bare skin the toxic bacteria will take its effect.

Maneki couldn't believe what he had just heard they could get a earth scroll by defeating a bunch of komodos.Maneki had a plan of how to beat them depending on akiras element.He turned to akira and said "i have a plan to defeat them but i dont have the right element whats your element?"Maneki now waited for akira to respond and hpped that he he had fire element jutsus.

Akira ignored the words of the boy beside him now and quickly just formed a few quick hand signs, his right palm coming upwards and curling around his lips. "Katon! Dai Endan!" he shouted only a bit, a quick bolt of fire chakra burning through the air towards the Lizards, a small bit of himself shifting his stance to be able to fire his fire more aggressively instead of just a small stream. His wings folded outwards behind him now, shifting the wind around himself to make sure he didn't move while doing this. He was wanting to get this over with, fast.

With a nasty smile pasted on her face, she dropped from a higher area, the tunnel leading upwards into a new area, sliding down the metal, and planting her feet at the end of the slide, she licked the bloody kunai in her hand with a loving smile on her face, looking as content as could be. Blood! she thought, her cute voice echoing in her head as she pushed a few stray strands of hair behind her ear, and quickly letting the kunai spin around her fingertip, and raising her hand, and throwing the kunai down the tunnel at the head of a boy nearby, just down the tunnel. Rei smiled with a grin on her face, noticing that she had seen one body of the team before in the village, though still smiling nastily, she quickly dropped her happiness, grabbing shuriken, and throwing them so they would turn in onto the boys' arms without them noticing, as she quickly took another kunai, aiming it between their heads, enough to get them to notice her.

"Give me the scroll, or DIE PROTECTING IT!" her voice matching with a darker one, her own, softer voice echoing underneath the darker voice.

Xia dropped from a higher area as well, next to Rei, who had dropped slightly before her. In her assassin gear, and with her hood up, her identity is slightly hidden, for her nose and up, where shadowed by her hood. Looking at the other ninja, then looking back at Rei, Xia was strangely surprised in how suddenly Rei's behavior changed. She stood there, not moving an inch, just watching to see what could happen with Rei, and the attack she had just performed.
