Manga

Supposing that this site were to have its own manga, what would it be called? And which three characters on the site would the first plot revolve around?

Kyogi might be one of those three, I'm guessing..

I'm not sure, but Kitaro, Oshi and Lee would definitely have to mentioned (as legendary shinobi maybe?) at some point.

If it were, (Good luck finding an artist), It wouldn't be around three characters in my opinion but have a series of "episodes/parts" focusing on different people, groups and events for example one part might feature past events like the willow genocide, another might just Focus on one character/conflict, for example Arte's story, and another may focus on a group like the 7lsm, and it would cycle through depending on what the writer felt like. So it wouldn't be like the naruto manga in the linear sense, but the site doesn't work like that anyways.

I believe, from reading the above comments, a good title would be "A Lost Cause"

Revy could be in it as that awesome badass legendary ninja that roamed around killing at one point, but disappeared for a while then came back all of a sudden. Kinda like Nagato and Madara

The thing is I'm not sure who you guys classify as legendary. Some old folks from the beginning..possibly. But the question is did they actually do anything except fight against one another? Any truly epic fights thats even worth mentioning?

Mostly everyone was here before I...but who really has a top three spot that is even worth really writing about?

The people that I see worth mentioning in one atm would be Talis, L.V., Kidate, Revy, Kitsuke, Naizu, Tenshin, Kitaro and select Saruno plots. Val as Xarias had a lot of out landish things and Some of the others were in the midst of doing extremely short and non detailed post. Hotsuma had his battles but a lot of stuff for him were against people that were considered legendary but post wise prove otherwise. Ki was in the midst of a lot of stuff but was also in the middle of controversy with his kkg, though in a manga it really doesn't matter.

The hardest part about making a manga at all would be getting everything straight. There was a willow genocide, and yet if I remember correctly, thanks to bullshit and a lack of conviction, it was never ruled if it was ever really successful. Xarias has been considered non-existent, a lot of characters just disappeared without ever dying or even having any mention of their leaving. There are so many holes in the site's failed attempts at plots that I'm not sure you'd be able to make a manga of it anyway.

Also if this idea is actually put into motion and someone decides to write a 'proper' manga then I would assume that people who have never been on the site would eventually read it, meaning that we would have to introduce groups and clans (the Willows for example) before a plot could be centered around them.

Definately the first roleplayers of the site .
Like Modorokie, Oshiroku, and like .. the characters that have revolved around war, and have made happenings in the plot .

I don't know if anybody considered this, but if this were made into a real manga, what would happen to the little guys? I mean, I myself am one, so I think I should just ask. I'm still pretty new to the site, but I can't help but wonder what would become of us who were not completely centered around major plots. Out of curiousity, of course xD

I've been working on manga since I was 12. I think I would be good on the art and parts of the storyline but I would need someone to help me with it. Also, I've done manga on sites before, though they fell apart because people were relying on me to do 2 ten page chapters a week without any help or to bounce off info.

Though with the willow idea, since they've been around quite a bit i could use them as a narration when we go around the circle introducing everybody.

Also I think we should have a "main" character. Though the traits would have to be that

significant develop in power (meaning they had to rp to get the power, not just start out with it)

a good history in which we can look at and use

an overall appeasing character in which most people can relate to ( which takes the willows off the chart since they are a difference spieces and can only be used as supporting characters, narrations, or villians)

also the character needs one or two disabilities and one attraction to something. (disabilities: could have a disfigurement, afraid of cats, is obnoxious ect) (attraction: women/men, money, friends, noodles, perverts ect)

Well, I brought up the questions because I'd like to set this in motion. The problem lies in where I would start things off at, and what to call it. If Kam helps, we could do this as possibly a weekly thing and use the story plot to of now to keep every thing up to date and ahead. However, the title is what gives things the basis and the main circle of where everything kicks off. Right now, the main people active would be Kyogi, Revy, Naizu, Kitsuke, Ralia and Tarnish right now. The past is something that can be revisited as it is in so many other comics, manga and animes.

I might start to come back. Troubles in life have struck me. I'd like to see this site turned into manga, and if every major character is revolved around it, I'd be glad to help somehow.

can you do special effects on manga? I can only do the traditional style.

If you plan to do this, you'd have to do it right, meaning

idea -> Synopsis -> Script->story board/layout->paper,pencil, inks, and if needed color.

Personally I think one should split up the writer and artist, making it much easier to get done, as one person wouldn't have the whole project on their chest.
Plus I wouldn't start the story in the current plot, not much happening along with the fact you don;t know where it's going. i strongly advise starting in the last big war and working forward and backwards to tell the story. Along with all this remember the writer will have to take liberties to fill in the holes.

Main Story and Side Story, maybe ?
Like one all about the main characters, and when they are adventuring, there could be like, a page or two in between chapters of the main stories about the secondary characters .
It would be interesting, and it could fill in holes and breaks .
